Osram warning lamp Ledguardian® Truck Flare Signal TA19

The new Osram LedGuardian® Truck Flare Signal TA19 is an LED warning light of which is mandatory in the vehicle and use in the event of a vehicle that has been left behind in Germany. This applies to all vehicles with a total weight of ≥ 3.5t in accordance with §53a StVZO.

In addition, the Truck Flare from Osram also meets the requirements prescribed in the technical requirements of the StVZO (TA 19).
These say that the warning lamp must meet the following properties:

• An orange flashing light
• an uninterrupted operating time of at least 15h
• A flashing frequency of 1.5 Hz ± 0.5 Hz ≙ 90 ± impulses per minute
• a traffic jam pressure 21 kg/m² ≙ wind force 9

Only the lights that meet these requirements are officially approved in road traffic.
