What is idig?
Idig is an excavator control system. It supports you optimally in your dredging work by showing you the current position and location of your spoon cutting edge in real time. This is done on a powerful and robust touchpad that is intuitive and easy to use. The excavator depth control system is suitable for all your machines regardless of manufacturer.
How exactly does you support you?
The system supports you in dredging work by showing precise dimensions on the control box, where exactly and how far it has to be dredged. You can display depth, slope and route. The screen and LED display will then help you to remove the desired area. The display can also help you plan, drill and set fences. The idig system shows you all information about the position of your spoon cutting edge. You don't need a leveling device for this, no second man and you do not have to interrupt the work by constantly getting out. In this way you can save working hours and the risk of accidents is reduced. Many earthworks, civil engineering and garden and landscaping companies (GALA BAU) benefit from the idig system through this workforce.
How does it work?
With the help of small, weather -resistant sensors, the height and location of the spoon cutting edge localize. The sensors can be placed freely on your excavator and charges themselves via solar cells. When installing the system per machine, no more than 2 hours are required. Videos and graphics lead you step by step through the installation. An interactive help menu also helps you with questions. The data of the machine and the spoon is recorded and saved within this installation. This allows the system to calculate the dimensions of the excavations for the machine later.
Isn't that impractical and expensive?
A single idig system can be used on up to 100 machines. Only the brackets for sensors and ads have to be attached to each machine. The conversion from one machine to the other usually takes two minutes. Work can begin. With this reuse, you only need to buy the system once.
