The time has come again: your construction machine has to be waited and the filters replaced. At Baumashop24 you can of course find all the replacement and accessories that you need for this. If you are looking for the right filters for your machine, you will probably stumble across the terms filter package, maintenance rate and service kit. But what exactly are the differences between these sets and what articles do they contain? Of course we will be happy to explain to you in this blog article.
Filter package
Filter packages contain various types of filters that are used in construction machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders or dumpers. This includes, for example, air filters, oil filters, fuel filters and hydraulic filters, which filter dirt and contamination from liquids and air, preventing other machine parts from being damaged. Filter packages are compiled in such a way that they contain all the necessary filters for a specific machine or specific model.
Maintenance rates & service kits
Maintenance rates and service kits are basically the same. They contain a larger selection of spare parts that are required for regular maintenance of a machine. In addition to filters, seals, V -belts, lubricants and other wearing parts can also be included. The parts are tailored to the maintenance plan of your machine model and ensure that the machine always runs optimally.
The main difference between the filter package and maintenance rate is therefore the extent of the parts and therefore of course also in the price. A filter package mainly focuses on the filter elements, while a maintenance set contains a wider range of wear parts, which should be replaced in regular maintenance of a machine.
Important: The exact composition of both filter packages and maintenance rates can vary from manufacturer and model to model. So it always makes sense to find out in advance which items are included and whether these are the products you need. If you have any questions, we will of course be happy to advise you.
